Red Ladder is a national touring theatre company and we were looking for some specialist help for Press & PR for a large scale community project to commemorate and celebrate our 40th Anniversary.

Dan Jeffrey from Bonner & Hindley Communications was recommended to us via a trusted source who was exceptionally pleased with the coverage his theatre company had received for a national tour earlier in the year.

We had several discussions with Dan and felt that he was sympathetic and enthusiastic for the project whilst being extremely pragmatic as to what could be achieved given the budget and timescales. There was certainly an empathy for the work and a good broad brush understanding of the medium we were working in.

As a company we gave a fairly focussed brief as to what we would like to achieve. This was refined and a set of parameters defined. I took up references from companies I knew and trusted and their testimonies could not have been written better by Bonner & Hindley themselves! There were, certainly, a number of good angles to work with but B&H's contacts and ability to open doors which we could not, gave a greater emphasis and focus to the PR.

From then on the process was extremely smooth with first rate results. We knew what would be a good return and B&H channelled our thoughts and resources in achieving profile and coverage which we would not otherwise have been able to obtain.

In summary the interview process was extremely constructive. We warmed to Dan as person through his ability to listen and extrapolate our thoughts and areas of expertise into a coherent and positive Press and PR campaign. There was an obvious empathy from the outset. He has enabled Red Ladder to move in more elevated media circles as well focussing our minds on what can be achieved, when, for how much and for what results.

We are using B&H currently on a new national tour as well moving towards a strategic Press and PR document to run alongside, inform and augment our existing three year business plan.
