'The Leeds'

B&H have been retained to provide strategic PR for the 16th Leeds International Pianoforte Competition.

'The Leeds' as it is affectionately known, has been running every three years since 1961, when it was founded by Dame Fanny Waterman and Marion Thorpe CBE.

It's since become one of the world's most important piano competitions, and a highly prestigious PR account.

2009's competition was launched at a reception on 24th November at 10 Downing Street. It was hosted by the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and attended by celebrities and dignitaries including Dame Fanny, Alan Bennett and Edward Fox.

The competition runs from 26 August to 13th September.
