B&H who manage Leeds Hotels Association, the consortium of the leading hotels and venues in and around Leeds have just wrapped up activity for Leeds Loves Food, a food lovers festival in the city that took place from 1st-4th July.

B&H organised and managed the PR activity around the Best Hotel Sausage in Leeds competition that involved hotel guests voting for their favourite hotel sausage. The competition final was a cook off between the 3 finalists on the Briggate Kitchen. The finalist cooked their hotel sausages that were judged by an independent panel of food enthusiasts from deliciouslyorkshire, Leeds City College and Yorkshire Evening Post.

The winner of the competition Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa impressed the judges using Lishmans Champion Pork Sausage.

Im delighted to have won this competition and it is great for the hotel to have such an accolade. We all pride ourselves on attention to detail so to have reached the final shows our guests are happy and to have won shows me that the effort I put into developing a menu with fresh and local produce really is important.

The Leeds Loves Food festival was a great showcase for Leeds to bring leisure visitors to the city. LHA also provided excellent accommodation packages to encouraging the festival goers to stay longer in the city.
