When the Great Inns of Britain Inn Keepers recently met for their AGM, they took the opportunity to celebrate having been invited to become the UK representative of the prestigious Historic Hotels of Europe, which brings together and promotes Europes finest historic hotels associations.

The Great Inns join HHEs incredible collection of  over 600 chteaux, manors, convents, palaces, monasteries, farms, townhouses, villas, post-houses and family-owned residences all of which represent the very best of their countries' national cultural traditions, historic heritage and architecture.

The Great Inns of Britain takes its place alongside 18 other carefully selected associations from right across Europe, all of which can be viewed through the website www.historichotelsofeurope.com

The Historic Hotels of Europe share the same passion and principles of The Great Inns of Britain in offering individual properties, with distinctive style, history and character, where guest can enjoy a unique and welcoming experience.
