Leeds in Barcelona

Bonner & Hindley Communications along with their client Leeds Hotels Association have recently returned from Barcelona where they were promoting Leeds as a business and leisure destination.

The hospitality association which gathers together 37 of the citys most stylish, celebrated and successful hotels and venues was in the city as part of Leeds in Barcelona, a festival of commerce and culture. The week was organised by Marketing Leeds in collaboration with key business sectors from the city, with an aim of increasing the profile of Leeds in Barcelona and wider Catalonia.

B&H planned and hosted the visit which included a variety of events including; networking with the Barcelona Hotels Association, taking a tour of the FIRA Barcelona Convention Centre, visiting key hotels and venues within the city and hosting a conference, events and travel agency buyers workshop. The workshop, offered buyers the opportunity to meet with representatives from Leeds and learn about the citys business tourism and incentive product.

B&H are now following up the trip by encouraging delegates from Barcelona to attend a familiarisation visit to Leeds in the autumn.
