New business with WTY

Specialist tourism agency Bonner & Hindley Communications has been appointed to deliver the business tourism PR campaign on behalf of Welcome to Yorkshire. With a roster of regional clients, B&H already works extensively with many of Yorkshires leading business tourism providers including hotels, venues and destinations.

Bonner & Hindley Communications and Welcome to Yorkshire will be working closely together on a Business Tourism Strategy which aims to increase the value of corporate business secured by the regions four conference bureaux to £1.8m, including conferences, meetings and incentive travel. The strategy will be supported by a comprehensive marketing and PR campaign and will include editorial features and advertising in key trade titles and business publications, as well as coordinated high profile attendance at national business tourism exhibitions such as International Confex. A programme of press and buyer familiarisation visits will ensure that key influencers and decision makers are able to see and sample the strength of Yorkshires business tourism product for themselves.
