The 2008 Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival has just drawn to a close after 10 days of thrilling aural adventures!B&H has been retained as HCMFs marketing and PR consultancy for thepast 8 years, with responsibility for planning and implementing anintegrated programme of communications.
The many successes delivered through the 2008 Festival included a major sponsorship deal with the University of Huddersfield; key media partnerships with BBC Radio 3 and The Wire magazine; over 50 international guests hosted through partnerships with the British Council and Reseau Varese a prestigious group of European contemporary music festivals; a newly developed website and integration with social networking sites; over £250K of media coverage across national newspapers and magazines, on-line and broadcast.
Now in its 32nd year, HCMF is the UKs leading festival of contemporary music, drawing composers, performers and audiences from around the world to Huddersfield in November each year to see, hear and participate in over 50 performances, concerts, exhibitions, installations, workshops and discussions.
