It's a Mystery

29/10/2008

The English Mystery Play might be commonly considered the oldest form of popular entertainment in Western Europe, but in 2009 there will be just one Mystery Play, and it's taking place at Monk Bretton Priory, near Barnsley.

The English Mystery Plays at Monk Bretton Priory will be performed from Monday 29th June to Saturday 11th July 2009 and will capture the essence of England's Medieval Mystery Plays in two weeks of spectacular and atmospheric theatre.

We launched the Plays on 29th October to regional and national media, and will be implementing a PR campaign to run through to next year. We also co-ordinated production of the leaflet and briefed in the supporting website.
