This year Yorkshire's Magnificent Attractions will be at some of the country's biggest shows, including the Lincolnshire Show, the Great Yorkshire Show, Manchesters Fun Things To Do With The Kids, and Yorkshire Day.

At each event you can expect an interactive insight into each attraction. You'll also get to meet the star characters of the attractions from Sally Theaker a miners wife to Mr Tickets the conductor.

With a range of activities and performances, your children are guaranteed some fun. Be transformed into anything your heart desires with Eureka's free face painting or watch the balloon modeller create something amazing. Come and try on real armour from through the ages or an empathy belly to see what it's like to be four months pregnant.

Why not travel back a 1000 years and watch an intense re-enactment of a Viking Battle Drill? Or head over to Magna to watch the Kitchen Sink Show with the Mad Professor and watch water disappear!

After all that excitement, children can come to the activity table and can make a bug or miner mask, a train badge or simply colour in as much as their heart desires.

And don't forget to check out the exciting creatures that will be making an appearance: from hissing cockroaches and stick insects from Harewood House, to a giant African land snail from The Deep. Be warned you might get slimy!
