Ever fancied discovering your inner drag king or queen? Or writing and performing poetry under the expert eye of a leading spoken word and theatre practitioner? And how about an evening of matchmaking with a lorra lorra laughs?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, then make a note on your diary for the York Lesbian Arts Festival, Europe's Biggest Lesbian event, which returns to York from 23 to 26 October 2008.

Confirmed guests include Stella Duffy, Jackie Kay and Val McDermid, and events range from music to poetry to clubbing, and everything in-between, around the edges and out in the leftfield. It promises to be a great event.
